What the hell was going on??? Well, there is an explanation to this: these women are all mothers, and what they’re doing is looking after their children as they’re sending them off to school!

You might have seen your WeChat Moments with things like this:

“Better hurry up, guys! It’s time to go back to school!!!”

We’ve been waiting all summer for this wonderful moment to come again! Cheers, darling!

Chinese moms, however, did not have the same reaction. They’re generally very protective over their kids and when the summer holiday ends, they’re worried that their child will not adjust to their school life well because they’re used to being smothered at home so much.
