沙特石油公司让印度员工装扮成洗手液

近日,有媒体报道,沙特阿美(Saudi Aramco)石油公司让印度员工装扮成移动洗手液,以方便公司高管洗手。此消息一出,引起众怒。随后,公司发声致歉。

Saudi Arabia's oil giant has apologised after forcing a man to dress up as a human hand sanitiser dispenser and stand in its reception.



hand sanitiser

Some questioned the authenticity of the photographs, but the Telegraph was able to verify their authenticity by cross-referencing them with other images taken inside Aramco's headquarters.

Several hours later, the company issued an apology for the incident.


"In light of the recent social media photos of our colleague wearing a ‘sterilisation kit’ in one of the Aramco facilities, we would like to express our strong condemnation of this abusive behavior," Aramco said. "The company immediately stopped this act and took strict measures to prevent it from happening again."

The oil giant explained that the stunt was an attempt to "emphasise the importance of sterilisation" in light of the coronavirus outbreak.


Twitter users criticised the company for being racist and engaging in modern slavery and called on those responsible for the idea to resign.
