facilitation /fəˌsɪl.ɪˈteɪ.ʃən/ 表示“便利化；促进”，英文解释为“the process of making something possible or easier”举个🌰：

bilateral /ˌbaɪˈlæt.ər.əl/ 表示“双边的，双方的”，英文解释为“involving two groups or countries”举个🌰：

They have signed a bilateral agreement to help prevent drug smuggling. 他们已经签署了一项双边协定以防止毒品走私。

multilateral /ˌmʌl.tiˈlæt.ər.əl/ 表示“多国（或多方）参加的，多国（或多方）间的”，英文解释为“involving more than two groups or countries”

macroeconomic /ˌmæk.rəʊ.iːkəˈnɒm.ɪk/ 表示“宏观经济的”，英文解释为“of or connected with financial systems at a national level”

unilateral /ˌjuːnɪˈlætərəl/ 表示“单方的”，英文解释为“done by one member of a group or an organization without the agreement of the other members”如：a unilateral decision 单方面的决定。

1）常见含义表示“制裁”，英文解释为“an official order, such as the stopping of trade, that is taken against a country in order to make it obey international law”举个🌰：

Many nations have imposed sanctions on the country. 许多国家都对其进行制裁。

2）可以作动词也可以作名词，表示“批准；认可”，英文解释为“If someone in authority sanctions an action or practice, they officially approve of it and allow it to be done.”举个🌰：

He may now be ready to sanction the use of force. 他或许现在正准备批准使用武力。

exert /ɪɡˈzɜːt/ 表示“运用；行使（权威、权力等）；施加（影响等）”，英文解释为“to use something such as authority, power, influence, etc. in order to make something happen”举个🌰：

If you were to exert your influence they might change their decision. 如果你能施加你的影响，他们或许会改变决定。

只有各国行天下之大道，和睦相处、合作共赢，繁荣才能持久，安全才有保障。中国提出了全球发展倡议、全球安全倡议，愿同国际社会一道努力落实。

Only when all countries pursue the cause of common good, live in harmony, and engage in cooperation for mutual benefit will there be sustained prosperity and guaranteed security. It is in this spirit that China has put forward the Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative, and it stands ready to work with the international community to put these two initiatives into action.

1）表示“持续的，持久的”，英文解释为“continuing for a long time”举个🌰：

2）表示“坚定的，坚持不懈的”（determined），2020年政府工作报告中的例句：持续打造市场化、法治化、国际化营商环境 make sustained efforts to create a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment.

中国坚持对话协商，推动建设一个持久和平的世界；坚持共建共享，推动建设一个普遍安全的世界；坚持合作共赢，推动建设一个共同繁荣的世界；坚持交流互鉴，推动建设一个开放包容的世界；坚持绿色低碳，推动建设一个清洁美丽的世界。
