诗苑｜斯蒂文森童诗三首（双语）

罗伯特·路易斯·斯蒂文森（Robert Louis Stevenson，1850—1894），苏格兰随笔作家、诗人、小说家和游记作家。1885年，他发表了儿童诗集《一个孩子的诗园》（A Child's Garden of Verses），深受孩子们喜爱。诗集中的每首诗都短小精悍、意味悠长。诗人对诗歌格律要求严格，因此其诗兼具文字的形式美和音韵的和谐美。译者熊海媚从该诗集中选取了三首试译，在“六一”国际儿童节到来之际，本栏特推出与朋友们共赏，愿诸君永葆童心！

In winter I get up at night

And dress by yellow candle-light.

In summer, quite the other way,

I have to go to bed by day.

I have to go to bed and see

The birds still hopping on the tree,

Or hear the grown-up people’s feet

Still going past me in the street.

And does it not seem hard to you,

When all the sky is clear and blue,

And I should like so much to play,

To have to go to bed by day?

夏日的床

冬日随夜起，伴烛静穿衣。

夏日不一样，白天床上躺。

床上度整日，只见鸟跃枝。

或听大人步，似与我相遇。

天晴碧空照，本该任我闹。

却叫床上度，君以为何如？

At the Seaside

When I was down beside the sea

A wooden spade they gave to me

To dig the sandy shore.

My holes were empty like a cup,

In every hole the sea came up,

Till it could come no more.

在海边

当我坐海边，

有人送木铲，

拿它刨沙眼。

沙眼如空杯，

海水涌入内，

把它都装满。

Windy Nights

Whenever the moon and stars are set,

Whenever the wind is high,

All night long in the dark and wet,

A man goes riding by.

Late in the night when the fires are out,

Why does he gallop and gallop about?

Whenever the trees are crying aloud,

And ships are tossed at sea,

By, on the highway, low and loud,

By at the gallop goes he;

By at the gallop he goes, and then

By he comes back at the gallop again.

大风之夜

星月既落，大风高起，

长夜潮湿，孤骑飞驰，

夜深灯尽，为何前行？

树木潇潇，船也飘摇，

策马奔腾，马蹄阵阵，

马蹄阵阵，往返征程。
