PhD Students (2-3 posts) [2016-2017]

The Centre for Studies of Translation, Interpreting and  Cognition (CSTIC) at University of Macau welcome applications for PhD  students in Translation Studies, with a special focus on  translation/interpretin
g process research. Applicants are expected to work on  the research themes listed below. However, CSITC will consider proposals for  investigating other themes as well. Students are expected to begin their  study from August 2016.

1. Translation Process Studies

2. Interpreting Process Studies

3. Empirical Translation Studies

Corpus application in Cognitive Processes of Translation and  Interpreting

Students, if  admitted, may receive financial support for both their study at UM as well as  attending conferences overseas.
