KeyResponsibilities

•Be responsible for the CADD effort to support or drive internal drug discovery projects.

•Lead and coach the team by providing both scientific and technical guidance.

•Work closely with medicinal chemists, structural biologists, and otherfunctionalities in the institute, as well as external collaborators.

•Be able to provide expert opinions to whether or how CADD can contribute to thedifferent stage, especially the decision point for drug discovery projects.

•Be responsible to the training of Med Chem regarding the basic modellingknowledge and skills.

MinimumRequirements

•PhD degree in Computational Chemistry with a record of demonstratedproductivity.

•Minimum 5 years of experience with structure-based or ligand-based drug designand leadership experience in pharma industry drug discovery is preferred.

•Solid understanding and expertise in homology modelling, molecular docking, MD simulationsand other technologies such as quantum mechanics.

•The candidate must have good communication skills to work in a collaborativeteam environment. Oral and written skills in English are preferred.

•Scientific integrity is a must, candidate should be professional in maintaininglab notebooks and electronic files.
