The first batch of 300 CR-Vs set sail from Shanghai Haitong Port to Europe on May 15, and is expected to arrive at the port of Zeebrugge in Belgium by late June. After Belgium, the vehicles will then be transported to over 20 countries including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, Greece, and Portugal.

Aside from the aforesaid CR-V (HEV and PHEV), the other model under Dongfeng Honda's export project is the e:NS1 (BEV).

Dongfeng Motor stated that the export marks Dongfeng Honda's official entry into the overseas market, serving as a crucial milestone in its international expansion.

Earlier in April, Dongfeng Motor unveiled to the public its future operational plans. You Zheng, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, expressed that the company will focus on platform, product, technology, service ecosystem, and overseas exports to enhance its core competitiveness and gain a leading edge.

In terms of overseas markets, Dongfeng Motor will develop and unify its vehicle models globally with its partners, and promote its new energy vehicles in developed European countries.
