Fellow Deputies,
去年以来经济社会发展和今年疫情防控取得的成绩，是以习近平同志为核心的党中央坚强领导的结果，是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想科学指引的结果，是全党全军全国各族人民团结奋斗的结果。
We owe what we have achieved in economic and social development since last year and in COVID-19 control this year to the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the sound guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and the concerted efforts of the Party, the armed forces, and the people of all ethnic groups in China.

📍这一句中“...的成绩”没有译成常见的”A of B“结构，而是译成名词性从句的结构。常见的情况还有”...的方式“，可以采用”how to do...“的结构。

📍contraction 除表示”收缩，缩小“， 还可以表示”（肌肉的）收缩，挛缩；宫缩“，举个🌰：
The contractions started coming every five minutes.
子宫开始每隔五分钟收缩一次。
📍这一句出现了“受....”，可能会想到用过去分词结构表被动，后面的“世界经济等作主语“，但这样会使得并列主语很多，或者需要另起一句翻译。所以参考译文用了另一种方式，巧妙地换了主语，把”全球疫情冲击“当主语，后面”世界经济...“作为其结果，顺下来翻译，使得逻辑比较清晰。
国内消费、投资、出口下滑，
Domestically, consumption, investment, and exports have declined.

📍这句话中”国内“的译文采用了其副词形式，提供了另一种思路，个人认为此处译为in China也可。
就业压力显著加大，
Pressure on employment has risen significantly.

📍此处的翻译类似于“正话反说”。“存在不足”，如果直译出来不太妥当，所以改译为存在进步的空间。

在疫情防控中，公共卫生应急管理等方面暴露出不少薄弱环节，群众还有一些意见和建议应予重视。
