4．Promoting coordinated regional development

深入实施区域协调发展战略、区域重大战略、主体功能区战略、新型城镇化战略，

1）表示“有资格的；合格的；具备条件的”，英文解释为“a person who is eligible for sth or to do sth, is able to have or do it because they have the right qualifications, are the right age, etc. ”举个🌰：

只有70岁以上的人才有资格领取这项专款。

2）还有一个好玩的意思，表示“（指结婚对象）令人中意的；合意的，合适的”，英文解释为“An eligible man or woman is not yet married and is thought by many people to be a suitable partner.”举个🌰：

He's the most eligible bachelor in Japan.

他是日本最令人中意的单身汉。

🎬电影《我要当警察》（Observe And Report）中的台词提到：There are several tests to complete in order to be eligible for police academy 想要进警校 得通过几项测试。

leverage /ˈliːvərɪdʒ/ 表示“利用”，英文解释为“to use something that you already have in order to achieve something new or better”，举个🌰：

补充：

📍leverage作动词还有“举债经营”的含义，英文解释为“to use borrowed money to buy an investment or company”，举个🌰：

They can leverage a very small investment into millions of dollars.

📍“举债经营”指以借得的资本从事投资活动以期获得大于利息的利润。

美式 county seat 英式 county town 表示“（英国）郡首府，郡政府所在地；（美国）县首府，县政府所在地”，英文解释为“the most important town or city in a county, especially the one where the local government is based”举个🌰：

Cambridge is the county town of Cambridgeshire.

剑桥是剑桥郡的首府。
