The Head of Biology will lead a group of senior scientists and will be responsible for the whole process of biological research of new drugs and development.The successful candidate is driven, curious, patient focused, collaborative, with a bold ambition to contribute to our mission. Excellence in verbal and written communication, teamwork, and collaboration is a must.Responsibility:1. Lead the team to devote themselves to the biological research of new drug research and development projects, and deliver high-quality drug candidates that can be used for preclinical and clinical research;2. As a member of the drug development leadership team, work with other leaders to make clear decisions for target selection and validation, lead compound optimization, and candidate compound nomination, including designing and delivering complete data packages to support candidate compounds for preclinical and clinical studies.Qualifications:1. Doctoral degree, with Biology-related major;2. Experience in successful research and development of new drugs;3. Experience in successfully using advanced molecular and cellular biotechnology and related in vivo model research;4. Comprehensive understanding of the working knowledge of other pharmaceutical research disciplines and technical fields to efficiently promote the progress of the project;5. Excellent communication skills, academic paper publication records, cooperation experience with medicinal chemistry and CRO R&D teams is preferred.
