第十届形式语言学国际研讨会（The 10th International Conference on Formal Linguistics）定于2023年10月28-29日在北京召开，由中国英汉语比较研究会形式语言学专业委员会主办，清华大学外国语言文学系承办。形式语言学国际研讨会一般每两年召开一届，自2001年以来已召开过九届，为促进国内外形式语言学学者之间的交流、推进中国形式语言学发展起到了积极的作用。现将第十届形式语言学国际研讨会相关信息公布如下：

1、本届研讨会主要领域包括句法、语义、音系、形态、语言获得、语言加工、生物语言学等。

2、本届研讨会特别关注语言的多样性与语言学理论的解释性；欢迎理论与事实相结合的研究。

3、鼓励青年学者积极投稿。
4、重要时间节点：

摘要提交截止日期：2023年6月9日

录用通知发送日期：2023年7月底

报到日期：2023年10月27日

会议日期：2023年10月28-29日

5、工作语言：英文或中文。为促进学术的国际化，鼓励用英文投稿并宣读。

7、摘要格式要求：A4纸一页；英文摘要使用12号Times New Roman字体，中文摘要使用小四号宋体。单倍行距，四周边距1英寸（2.5厘米）。

8、摘要提交规定：

• 摘要以电子邮件方式提交，邮箱地址为。

• 请提交PDF和WORD文件各一份，命名方式为“姓_名.pdf”（独立署名的论文），“姓_名_co.pdf”（合撰论文，仅列出第一作者），例如张三独立署名的论文摘要命名为“zhang_san.pdf”，与他人合撰的摘要命名为“zhang_san_co.pdf”。每位参会者最多可提交一篇独立署名的摘要和一篇与他人合撰的摘要。

• 邮件主题请注明“ABSTRACT-ICFL10”。

• 摘要需匿名提交，但递交时请在电子邮件正文中提供：作者的姓名、身份（教师或学生）、所属单位、论文题目、所属研究领域（如句法学、语义学、语言习得）、邮箱地址等。

The 10th International Conference on Formal Linguistics

The International Conference on Formal Linguistics (ICFL) is a biennial international event organized by the Chinese Association of Formal Linguistics, which is affiliated with China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese. First launched in 2001, the conference has become a leading forum in China attracting scholars from all over the world to exchange new ideas and research findings in formal linguistics.

The 10th International Conference on Formal Linguistics (ICFL-10) will be held in Beijing, China, on October 28-29, 2023. It is organized by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Tsinghua University.

ICFL-10 invites submissions of abstracts on all topics in the field of formal linguistics, including (but not limited to) syntax, semantics, phonology, morphology, language acquisition, language processing, and biolinguistics. This year, the central theme of the conference is “Language Diversity and Explanatoriness of Linguistic Theories”. We especially encourage submissions from graduate students and early career scholars.

Abstract Format

• Abstracts can be written in either English (Times New Roman font, size 12 pt.) or Chinese (Song font, size small 4).

• Abstracts should be limited to one page (A4, including examples and selected references), single-spaced, with margin of 1 inch on all sides.

Submission Guidelines

• Abstracts should be submitted direcltly to the conference email address: icfl10@126.com.

• Authors should submit two files (one in PDF format and the other in WORD format), with the abstractsnamed in the following way: “LastName_FirstName.pdf” (for single-authored papers), “LastName_FirstName_co.pdf” (for co-authored papers). For example, Jill Smith would name her abstract file “Smith_Jill.pdf”, or “Smith_Jill_co.pdf” for a co-authored paper. Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author.

• In the Subject of the email, please enter "ABSTRACT-ICFL10".

• The submitted files should be anonymous, but please make sure to include in the e-mail name(s) of the author(s), academic rank(s) (staff or student), affiliation(s), abstract title, subcategory (e.g., syntax, semantics, language acquisition), and the e-mail address for contact.

Registration

• Rates: RMB 1000 (faculty); RMB 500 (students). 

• Details of registration and payment options will be provided in the letter of acceptance.
