生物医学工程专业学会

始于2021年10月

    21世纪是生物的世纪。生物医学工程(BME)专业是一门整合生物、化学、物理、数学等学科知识的一门新兴的交叉学科。生物医学工程师的使命是开发先进的医疗器械和生物医药来解决与生命健康息息相关的问题,逐渐提高医疗服务的水平,从而改善我们的生活。随着新冠疫情的持续不断,BME专业的发展显得尤为重要。


    为了能进一步宣传并发展BME学科,香港中文大学(深圳)生物医学工程学会(简称BME学会)举着BME的大旗走来啦!

    The 21st century is the century of biology. Biomedical Engineering (BME) is an emerging interdisciplinary subject integrating biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and many other subjects. It is also an applied subject that focuses on technology transformation. The mission of biomedical engineers is to develop advanced medical equipments and biomedicine to solve problems closely related to life and health, improve the level of medical services, and thereby to improve quality of our lives. As COVID-19 epidemic continues, the development of BME subject is particularly important.


    In order to further promote and develop the BME major and academic subject, the Biomedical Engineering Association of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) (BME Association for short) is coming fearlessly for the greater good!

01.学会简介

Introduction to the BME Association


    BME学会是隶属于香港中文大学(深圳)生命与健康科学学院于2021年10月建立的大型学术学生组织。BME学会致力于协助发展BME学科及非BME专业同学们对生物医学工程方面的兴趣。


    对于校内,BME学会旨在通过科普学科信息学术平台共享加强学生与学科间的了解,学生与教授之间的沟通,学生与学生之间的联系,以及学生与未来工作产业的近距离接触。真正形成一种沟通、灵感、创新的学术氛围。


    对于校外,BME学会将通过对BME感兴趣的学生和老师聚在一起,进一步促进新技术及新产品的研发,产出专利文章等,建立和当地企业的合作,形成互帮互助,互惠互利的良性循环。


    BME学会将秉持着包容性强互惠互利为初衷,期待与同学们共同行动加快我校BME学科发展的步伐,扩大我校BME专业在大湾区乃至全国的影响力。

        The BME Association is a large academic student organization established in October 2021 by the School of Life and Health Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). The BME Association is committed to assist the development of BME subject and to provide a platform for exchanging ideas for anyone who is interested in biomedical engineering.


    On campus, The BME Association aims to strengthen the connection between students and the subject by sharing information of the subject, to make closer student-student connection and student-professor connection, and to get familiar with future work field and the whole industry, which, with honor, truly forms an academic atmosphere for communication, inspiration, and innovation.


    Off-campus, the BME Association will gather students and teachers who are interested in BME to further promote the research and development of new technologies and new products, produce patents and publish articles, etc., and establish cooperation with local enterprises to form mutual assistance and benefit.


    The BME Association will adhere to the commitment of being highly inclusive and mutual benefit oriented. We look forward to working with students to accelerate the development of our school's BME subject and expand the influence of our school's BME major in the Greater Bay Area and even the country.

02.学会发展形式与活动展开

先进医疗话题


一、学科兴趣了解机会

    1. BME作为一个跨学科的专业有许多兴趣分支,学会将致力于给同学们提供了解不同分支的兴趣小组,包括但不限于:

        a) 组织工程与3D打印

        b) 癌症纳米科技

        c) 生物材料和医学成像 

        d) 神经工程 

        e) 智能诊断和医疗器械 


    2. 兴趣小组将定期举办小组活动,例如文献分享研讨会,校内实验室,校外科研机构,及大型生物医疗公司参观等等。旨在给BME专业的本科生发展兴趣的机会,并也同时协助BME实验室的科研成员们,为他们提供交流,促进新想法。 


二、实验室与其他实习机会

    学会将建立并管理BME实习科研微信群。主要以校内教授及其实验室为主体。群内将定期更新教授以及实验室的实验机会,感兴趣的同学可以多多关注,实现直接沟通的高效。群二维码将在微信公众号中定期更新,并会发送给全体同学。 


三、大咖分享专业讲座

    BME专业的另一个特点为其极高的可转化型(例如创业、专利等)。学会将不定期邀请校外BME专业的创业企业家们来做分享研讨会,让同学们更能了解BME专业务实及发展方向。




I. Opportunities to learn about laboratory and subject interests

    1. As an interdisciplinary major, BME has many branches of interest. The society will be committed to provide students with interest groups to understand branches on different subject, including but not limited to:

        a) Tissue engineering and 3D printing

        b) Cancer Nanotechnology

        c) Biomaterials and medical imaging

        d) Neural engineering

        e) Intelligent diagnosis and medical equipment

    2. Interest groups will regularly organize group activities, such as scientific-literature sharing seminars, campus laboratories, off-campus tour on scientific research institutions, and visits to large biomedical companies. Not only will these activities give BME undergraduates the opportunity to develop their interests, but they also assist the scientific research members of the BME laboratory by exchanging information and promoting new ideas.


II. Laboratory and other internship opportunities

    The association will establish and manage the BME internship scientific research WeChat group, mainly taking on campus professors and their laboratories as the main body. The group will regularly update professors and laboratory experiment opportunities, and interested students can pay more attention to achieve efficient direct communication. The group QR code will be updated regularly in the WeChat official account and will be sent to all students.


III. Professional lectures shared by experts

    Another feature of the BME profession is its extremely high convertibility (such as entrepreneurship, patents, etc.). The BME Association will invite entrepreneurs from outside the school to share in seminars, so that students can better understand the practicability and development direction of BME.

Mainly in charge of running the official account platform to increase the influence of the Association, and complete the pre-event promotion and post-event WeChat articles.

活动的顺利举行。


Planning Department

Mainly in charge of planning scientific research interest group activities and seminars, write proposals, and plan activities.
